Our resident Executive Chef and his team prepare a diverse daily menu of longtime favorites and delicious regional specialties including aged western beef, rocky mountain trout, and rosemary rack of lamb, rounded off with mouthwatering, decadent desserts. At the heart of our culinary program is the wood-fired grill and traditional BBQ pit. The aroma of white oak and slow-smoked meats defines the ranch experience, from perfectly seared steaks to tender brisket and ribs infused with deep, smoky flavor.
C Lazy U is passionate not only about delicious meals, but about healthy options. Our food is made from the freshest ingredients and sourced locally whenever possible. We are happy to accommodate any dietary needs, in fact our Ranch Ambassador will have asked you about this before your arrival! The ranch also offers a unique opportunity to enjoy local meats, cured and prepared on ranch. We arrange meals to help balance time for adults and kids alike. During Summer Family Weeks, families share breakfast and lunch together daily, while kids enjoy the company of their peers and counselors at dinner, except for the legendary weekly family cookout occurring on Wednesday and Saturday evenings in the summer.
Woodsie Breakfast
Guests get to experience Woodsie Breakfast on Friday mornings June through August. A traditional cookout breakfast is prepared with fresh homemade donuts, local trout, eggs, bacon, sausage, seasonal fruit, and our famous pancakes on the outdoor griddle. All served by a roaring fire with “Cowboy Coffee.” Enjoy the majestic views of the Indian Peaks range overlooking the enchanting Willow Creek Reservoir. Walk the half-mile to Woodsie for some early morning exercise or ride on our tractor pulled wagon.

At the C Lazy U Ranch, we present a wide variety of local and international selections of beer and wine. Our goal is to satisfy the needs of every guest by offering customized beverages to suit every palate. We pride ourselves on bringing some of the finest wines in the world to our corner of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. From some of the largest vineyards in the country to much smaller and more unique boutique vineyards, we work with a vast array of purveyors to provide a selection that is sure to satisfy. The beer selection at the ranch is made up of some of the finest, hand crafted, local brews that Colorado has to offer. We also provide more familiar domestic and international beer options. Clever cocktails meant to enhance the Rocky Mountain experience round out our exceptional menu.
