Elk Hunt
Our signature hunt, the C Lazy U Ranch offers one of the best guided elk hunts in the world. Being only 10 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, we are home to many migrating elk herds. Colorado is known for its large elk population and we typically see Bulls ranging from 230″ to as much as 300″ in size. We have a world-class hunting guide service that is accommodating to all hunter needs and styles. Access to the hunting areas is enhanced by trails suitable for motorized transport.
Mule Deer Hunt
The C Lazy U Ranch is home to some of the best Mule Deer habitat in Colorado. Year after year we see trophy Bucks roll in for the rut. Expect to see mule deer ranging in size from 170″ to 200″ — and even larger. To maintain a quality deer population we only offer around 8 rifle mule deer hunts a year. If you are eager for an exciting, once in a lifetime mule deer hunt, C Lazy U Ranch is the place to be. There is limited tag space available so we recommend booking far in advance.
Pronghorn
Northwest Colorado is famous for its large herds of pronghorn antelope. Offering 2-3 hunts a year, the C Lazy U is a great place to harvest your trophy. C Lazy U does receive a limited number of “landowner tags” each year for our hunting clients to use.
Moose
The C Lazy U Ranch is home to many moose that are seen year round on the property. Just a warning, these tags are very difficult to come by, but if you are fortunate enough to draw a moose tag we would be happy to provide you with a world-class hunt.
Hunters are welcome to bring their spouses, friends, and families who can enjoy the many ranch activities and amenities while the hunter is out in the field.
